• Something has to give this weekend, as two of the nation's unbeaten teams square off when top-ranked Concordia-St. Paul plays host to No. 4 Minnesota-Duluth. Last weekend, the Golden Bears were pushed to five sets for the first time this season before eventually defeating No. 9 Southwest Minnesota State. Meanwhile, UMD had a much easier time, sweeping Winona State.

• Cal State-San Bernardino's No. 3 ranking marks the 75th consecutive poll that the Coyotes have been inside the top 10, the 149th consecutive top-15 appearance and the 160th consecutive time it has been ranked.

•  No. 2 Tampa, at 20-0, is off to its best start in 23 years. The best start in program history was 25-0 in 1984 as the 1987 and 1988 teams were both 22-0.
