She recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 15 kills and 14 digs, adding five blocks and two aces to help the Huskers take down the Illini. She also had 14 kills, nine digs and two blocks against Iowa. Her efforts helped Nebraska earn its first win against a top-ranked opponent since 1990.

Other Players to Watch this Weekend:  Lillian Schonewise, Cal (Freshman, Middle Hitter), Colleen Ward, Illinois (Senior, Outside Hitter), Alex Jupiter, USC (Senior, Outside Hitter), Ariel Scott, Penn State (Sophomore, Middle Hitter), Carly Wopat, Stanford (Sophomore, Middle Blocker), Rachael Kidder, UCLA (Sophomore, Outside Hitter).

• Nebraska has the top spot in the AVCA Coaches' Poll for the first time since 2007. There is no time to celebrate. The Huskers face four-time defending national champion and No. 8 Penn State on the road Saturday, a night after they play at 23rd-ranked Ohio State.

• The coaches' poll could be shaken up considerably after this weekend. A total of five matchups on the schedule feature clashes between top-10 teams. Also, No. 9 Texas faces No. 14 Iowa State on Friday and third-ranked Illinois plays host to No. 15 Minnesota on Saturday.

• Speaking of the Cyclones, they'll likely be heading into their showdown with Texas feeling confident. Iowa State ended Texas A&M's perfect home record last weekend and Alison Landwehr cracked the 2,000-assist plateau in the victory.
