Key Notes: Wittman averaged 11.33 assists and 3.22 digs a set as the Lady Blues won three consecutive 3-0 sweeps to remain unbeaten in the MIAA. Wittman had 45 assists and 13 digs for a double-double Friday at Truman. Last Tuesday against Northwest Missouri, she had 33 assists and nine digs. She added 24 assists and seven digs Saturday at Missouri Western in a 6-2 rotation.

• Just a day after taking the No. 1 spot in the latest AVCA poll, Minnesota-Duluth suffered its first defeat of the season, falling to Concordia-St. Paul 3-0 on Tuesday night. They'll try to bounce back this weekend as they take to the road for two more matchups against in-state rivals. The Bulldogs face Minnesota-Crookston on Friday night and Minnesota-Moorhead on Saturday afternoon.

• Former No. 1 Tampa (now No. 4) will start the climb back to the top with three matches in three nights on the weekend. The 25-1 Spartans host North Alabama on Thursday before hosting Nova Southeastern on Saturday and Florida Tech on Sunday.

•  Second-ranked Cal State-San Bernardino hopes to extend two long winning streaks on the weekend. The Coyotes have won 22 matches in a row for the first time in school history. They've also won 56 in a row at home. They'll host Humboldt State on Friday night and Sonoma State on Saturday night.
