Southern California downs New Hampshire in three sets to advance

LOS ANGELES -- The Women of Troy earned a 3-0 sweep against New Hampshire to secure a spot in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Scores of the match were 25-9, 25-10, and 25-12.

USC held New Hampshire to a .013 attack percentage and 21 team kills.

USC was paced by Ebony Nwanebu who registered 10 kills in the match and a .714 attack percentage. The Women of Troy earned 45 team kills.

UNH had made the tournament field for the fourth time in program history; the first since 2003. Ten years ago, on Dec. 5, 2003, the Wildcats also faced the Trojans in the first round of the NCAA tournament. USC claimed a 3-0 sweep (30-17, 30-18, 30-17) en route to winning the second of back-to-back national crowns.
