Cal State San Bernardino sweeps Sonoma State to advance

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -- Cal State San Bernardino downed Sonoma State 3-0 in the West Region tournament on Friday evening. Set scores were 25-17, 25-19 and 25-23. The Coyotes had 41 team kills and 47 team digs on the day.

The Coyotes hit .207 as a team, while Sonoma State only hit .087.

Cal State San Bernardino was led by Tory May, who hit at a .583 clip, adding one dig and 14 kills.

Kelsey Hull led Sonoma State with seven digs, nine kills and two aces.
