In a matchup that featured two of last season's NCAA quarterfinalists, the Bluejays rallied for an impressive 24-26, 24-26, 25-18, 25-16, 15-11 win against Clarkson.
Sam Szarmach led Elmhurst in the win with 17 kills and three blocks. Megan Reynolds added a double-double, finishing with 10 kills and 10 blocks. Kaitlyn Wilks chipped in with 12 kills while Jess Suarez added 11 kills in the win. Marci Novak finished with eight kills and three aces. Katie Rueffer totaled a team-leading 34 assists while Lauren Lorenz finished with 28 assists and 18 digs. Hannah Lessen recorded 32 digs while Dana Loncar totaled 23.

The Bluejays closed the tournament with a 25-17, 26-24, 25-9 win against the tournament host La Verne.
Wilks and Szarmach finished with 10 kills apiece to pace the Bluejays' attack. Reynolds pounded down nine kills and tallied five blocks while Wilks added four blocks and Szarmach tacked on three. Lessen totaled a team-leading 19 digs and three aces while Lorenz totaled 23 assists.
