LA JOLLA, Calif. -- No. 8 Loyola Marymount finished the Triton Invitational with another sweep on Sunday, including yet another one-goal thriller with host and rival No. 12 UC-San Diego in the final on Sunday. The Lions defeated No. 19 Air Force 7-5 to start the day then ended with a 7-6 win against the Tritons.

The eighth-ranked Lions improve to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in against Western Water Polo Association foes after the wins.

Freshman Joe Ferritti scored a pair of goals in the win against Air Force and redshirt freshman Mark Menis had two in the big road win against the Tritons. The Lions had good balance in the final day, as six players scored in each game.

Menis also scored against Air Force while senior Edgaras Asajavicius, redshirt senior Charlie Horton and junior transfer Matt Venner joined Menis by scoring in both games.
