IRVINE, Calif. -- No. 3 UCLA recorded a pair of victories at the UC Irvine Invitational on Saturday.

The Bruins (10-1) defeated No. 17 Cal State Northridge, 13-4 in their first game before cruising past No. 12 Michigan, 13-3 in a second-round match.

KK Clark and Emily Donohoe each scored three goals in the win against Cal State Northridge. In all, the Bruins received at least two goals from five players. Becca Dorst, Sarah Orozco and Hannah Sebenaler each scored twice, while Natasha Schulman tallied her first collegiate goal.

Caitlin Dement made four saves in the first half, and Sarah Wilkey recorded six stops in the cage in the second half for UCLA.

The Bruins blanked Cal State Northridge in the first half, scoring twice in the first quarter before adding four goals in the second. UCLA outscored the Matadors, 6-3, in the third period.

Later that afternoon, Clark and Emily Greenwood tallied a team-leading three goals to pace UCLA past Michigan for the third time in as many meetings this season. Nicole Barker and Gisselle Naranjo each added two goals for UCLA.

The Bruins led 2-1 after the first quarter and doubled their margin in the second to secure a 4-2 halftime lead. UCLA blanked Michigan, 4-0 in the third quarter and outscored the Wolverines, 5-1 in the final period.

In that contest, Dement tallied seven saves, while Wilkey added two stops in the final four minutes of the match.
