HAYS, Kan. -- After falling behind 18-6, Fort Hays State won the last four matches to upset No. 7 Central Oklahoma, 21-18, on Thursday night at Gross Memorial Coliseum in FHSU's first dual meet of the season. Tied at 18-18, Justin Glenn won an overtime decision 5-3 on a late takedown to give the 16th-ranked Tigers the 21-18 win.

The Tiger rally started with an Aaron Berscheidt win by forfeit at 174 that cut the Bronchos lead in half to 18-12 with the six points. Walker Clarke scored three points for the Tigers with a close 3-2 decision win at 184 pounds to pull FHSU to within three at 18-15. Another one-point decision tied the score at 18-18 when Tanner Kriss won a 5-4 decision.

The dual came down to the final match at heavyweight between Glenn and UCO's Cody Daughlin. After being tied through the regulation seven minutes, Glenn won in overtime, giving the Tigers the 21-18 victory.

Joey Dozier pinned UCO's Kaleb Cradduck at 149 points to give the Tigers their first points of the match.

FHSU dropped the first three matches of the night. Adam Ludwin lost a 7-4 decision to Ryan Brooks at 125 poinds, Robbie Hines fell on a pin at 2:41 to Trison Graham and Dustin Dooley dropped a 4-2 decision to Casy Rowell at 141 pounds. The Tigers fell behind 12-0 before the Dozier victory via pin.

After the Dozier win, the Bronchos won twice more at 157 and 165 pounds. Cory Dauphin defeated Derek Koehn in a close 3-2 decision, while Chris Watson won a 5-1 decision against Benny Armstrong to give UCO an 18-6 lead before the Tiger rally.
