YORK, Pa. -- No. 15 York (Pa.) rolled to a 27-10 win in its 2011-12 regular season finale against McDaniel on Friday night. The Spartans improved to 25-4 while McDaniel fell to 6-13.

The 25 wins increased the school record for single-season wins as the Spartans have shattered the old mark of 21 victories.

The Green and White started off with win from Joey Giaccio as he recorded a 7-2 victory at 125 pounds. The win boosted the his record to 25-6 for the year.

The Green Terror got on the board with a major decision win at 133 pounds but the Spartans quickly got back on top as Chris Albright made quick work of his bout at 141 pounds. Albright posted a pinfall victory in a mere 2:30 as he improved to 21-2 for the season. Albright's pin gave the Spartans a 9-4 lead.

The Green Terror took a one point lead on the Spartans as they earned victories at 149 and 157 pounds but the meat of the Spartan lineup roared back as they put away the match over the following five weight classes.

Trent Bond began the roll with a 6-2 win at 165 pounds, putting the Spartans up 12-10. Matt Heisey earned a 12-2 major decision at 174 pounds as the York lead grew to 16-10. Heisey's victory was the 25th of the season.

Alex Martocello concluded his outstanding regular season as the 184-pounder improved to 27-1 with a 18-2 tech fall win against Scott Forrester in his bout. Martocello's win pushed the York lead to 21-10. Jeff Goldhagen kept the Spartans rolling with a 7-2 win at 197 pounds.

George Saliba closed out the Spartans' regular season with a 6-2 win in the heavyweight bout. The win for the Spartan heavyweight was his 31st of the season.
