This fall was the first season for Mercer football since 1941. As a start-up program, young players on the team more than outnumber the upperclassmen. In fact, there's only one senior; the kicker, Josh Shutter. His journey to playing football, and the mark he left on the program will be remembered for a long time at Mercer.
